Accomplishments and Interests:
I Enjoy Yoga, Disc Golf, Swimming.  I try to learn something new everyday.  Just joining Toastmasters was a HUGE accomplishment for me.

Personal and Career Goals:
My goal is to become a well-rounded interesting individual that is not afraid to speak my mind. I think that CHATS will help me accomplish just that.

What objectives do you hope to accomplish as a member of Chats Toastmasters?
I would like to eventually be able to stand up in front of the group and not be so fearful.  I want to learn to modulate my voice when speaking and learn how to address a group properly .

Is public speaking a requirement of your job or profession?
No.

How would you describe your current skill level as a speaker?
Beginner; novice; new-be

Do you have any specific fears relative to public speaking? 
YES ! I am not sure if I have the inner fortitude to get up in front of a group of people and speak without fainting ! (or crying)   :-)

Why did you choose to join Chats Toastmasters? 
My boyfriend belonged to Toastmasters years ago; and it helped him to overcome his fear and he encouraged me to join... he thought it would be a wonderful way for me to learn how to speak properly in front of a group of people and to overcome my shyness.  I looked at 2 other Toastmaster Clubs in the area; and the members of CHATS were so friendly and inviting that I decided to join this club.

What can Chats Toastmasters do to help you acconplish your goals?  
By simply coming to the meeting each and every week, and experiencing the support from each member is all the help I think that I will need to accomplish my goals.

Tell the group anything else you'd like us to know about you!
I have had a VERY sheltered past.  I think that by joining this fine group, it will help me to learn self assurance and self awareness. I am looking forward to my journey....
