To become an accomplished speaker using humor, slowing down, organizing thoughts, eliminating distracting movements, and verbal pauses and phrases.Is public speaking a requirement of your job or profession? YesHow would you describe your current skill level as a speaker? Along time speaker (60 years), but with substantial room to improve, I need all the help I can get. Thanks for being here to coach, cajole, critic and humor me toward improvement in my aspirations to be a better speaker and communicator.Do you have any specific fears relative to public speaking? Forgetting what's next in the speech and leaving out important material. Why did you choose to join Chats Toastmasters? I had joining toastmasters on my “yet to do list” for the last 8 years, finally got around to it.What can Chats Toastmasters do to help you accomplish your goals? Be there to help me improve it would be lonely trying to do it by myself.
