To keep learning more about the skills to be an accomplished and effective speaker. Is public speaking a requirement of your job or profession? Public speaking is a requirement for life! :) How would you describe your current skill level as a speaker? I'm a moderate to good speaker who can sometimes pull off a magical speech that elevates me to a great speaker! Do you have any specific fears relative to public speaking? Yes...I fear that I'll lose my focus and the words will dribble out of my mind like water from a dripping faucet. Why did you choose to join Chats Toastmasters? I was brought kicking and screaming by a friend, Jennifer Carroll, who wanted to try out a new club (speaking club) just for fun. After the first meeting and listening to the masters in the room, the challenge was set. I wanted to be able to speak as effortlessly as they did!. What can Chats Toastmasters do to help you accomplish your goals? You have to have a strong desire to better yourself when you join a club like CHATS. They inspire you to be stronger and open to take your ordinary present state of being to an extra ordinary level!!! The members are there to truly help you! What else would you like the group to know about you? I have two children, one in her 3rd year of college and one in his senior year of high school. Both are my everything! .
