I enjoy people from all walks of life. My initial training was been in Social Work & Counseling. For the last 15 years I have held a position with The Vanguard Group in Human Resources., There I have been fortunate to counsel, advice, coach, train and develop others of all levels. Many of the young professionals there also utilize my expertise for career development, goal setting and attainment. I value using my intuition and creativity to enrich the lives of others. I received my coach training at CoachU and am active with her local ICF chapter. I am a Freshstart and Chrysalis Mentor. In March 2006, I will become certified to be a LifeBlue Wokshop Facilitator. Toastmaster’s CHATS has challenged me in ways no other professional group has. I feel I grow during every meeting.

Really connect with any audience.  Learn how to take any message and tie it back into what the audience can all value.

Is public speaking a requirement of your job or profession?
Yes! I have decided to become a motivational speaker.

How would you describe your current skill level as a speaker?
On a scale of 1-10, about a 6.

Do you have any specific fears relative to public speaking?
My biggest fear is that I will go on and on about me and the audience is thinking, “So What? Who Cares?”

Why did you choose to join Chats Toastmasters?
I was inspired by the other TM members. I could tell with the knowledge in the room I was going to learn something.

What can Chats Toastmasters do to help you accomplish your goals?
Be honest with me in feedback and challenge me to keep stretching outside my comfort zone.
