_____________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________Occupation and Employer: Health and Wellness Arbonne consultantAccomplishments and Interests:Spending time with my family, traveling, exercising, and going to the zoo with my husband and daughter! Personal and Career Goals:- Do something every day that scares me! - Help people look and feel better! -Teach and train people how to have a business from home so they can have more time and money. Name of Mentor:Joel Weldon (Dad)Communication and Leadership GoalsWhat objectives do you hope to accomplish as a member of Chats Toastmasters? To give an organized speech that has a definite opening, body, and close. My goal is to deliver a speech that makes absolute sense to the audience (not just to me) while using humor, questions, and addressing the “So what and who cares” principle! Is public speaking a requirement of your job or profession?Yes! How would you describe your current skill level as a speaker? Speaking, I’m a 10 – I could talk all day that’s not my problem! Effective organized speaking that is of interest to others is the issue…about a 6 ½.Do you have any specific fears relative to public speaking? Fear of crying! When I am nervous, excited, happy, proud, frustrated, flattered, scared, in love, overwhelmed, and pretty much any other emotion, I cry! I really hope to overcome my “cry baby” reputation! Why did you choose to join Chats Toastmasters? Why Not?? After visiting 13 other TM clubs in the valley, I realized this was the best and most talented group! The people are so positive, supportive, and fun! Not to mention, I get to learn from my Dad…Joel Weldon! What can Chats Toastmasters do to help you accomplish your goals? Be tough on me - I can handle the truth! I need the constructive criticism and honest feedback. I’m hoping that Tom Nelson’s vocabulary, Norma Ory’s professionalism, Marc Leach’s creativity, and Jennifer Carroll’s wardrobe wears off on me!Anything else?I still have one baby tooth that I haven’t lost yet and I’m a grown woman! It just might fall out one day at Toastmasters in the middle of a speech!
